Rev. Kelly Smith Sr. is an adult convert to Christianity and prays that all will come to know of Jesus as their Savior. He has been married to his college sweetheart for 39+ years. They met on a national choir tour. They have 5 children, one who died due to SIDS. The other four are married and live in four different states. As one of their children once noted, the first 3 kids are wolverines, the next is a Hoosier, the baby is a Badger, and Mom and Dad are a couple of Nuts (Buckeyes - being from Ohio) . They have 4 grand-daughters, with another coming in January of 2022. Pastor Kelly has degrees in Advertising, Marketing, Retailing, Pastoral Theology and Comparative Symbolics! The phrase jack of all trades, master of none has been used. He previously worked in management in the trucking industry and retired from the full-time ministry after 30 years. He currently works as a chaplain and volunteer coordinator for hospice and is privileged to serve Christ Our Redeemer as their Interim Pastor.
